Studio Onyx | Angela + Danielle | Our Story
Angela has been in the luxury design field for more than 10 years and decided to start her own business in 2014. With a successful business taking off, Angela realized she needed help to take her business where she dreamed it could go. Angela and Danielle met randomly and found that Danielle's love for design matched Angela's in every way. With Danielle's MBA and general business background, it became clear that they needed to go into business together. From there, Studio Onyx was born.
Angela
Graduated from Harrington College of Design with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2004. She spent most of her beginning years working in the kitchen and bath industry in Chicago until she transferred to Barrington and worked directly with a high end custom home builder and developer. There she quickly realized she wanted to be a part of the full design. She is married and has two little girls! She loves to be on the water soaking up the sun or on the slopes with her family and friends.
Danielle
I love creating spaces that make people feel something. I am a firm believer that good design is anchored in the feelings it evokes. I currently hold a Bachelor’s of Social Work and a Masters in Business, which has absolutely nothing to do with design :) I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two kids and one fur baby. I enjoy being outdoors and love being around people.
