Yes, believe it or not, there is another holiday between Halloween and Christmas - Thanksgiving! In an effort to not make the holidays pass by too fast, we wanted to do a fall decor post to remind everyone that there is still a transitional period that happens before Christmas. You don’t have to invest a ton of money in your fall decor, especially if you choose pieces that can easily transition into holidays or seasons.
So this board may seem simple, but it outlines a great way to create a transitional space between holidays. Simple hurricane glasses allow for a lot of flexibility when it comes to decor. You can put pretty wood inspired candles inside or fill them with decorative accents like acorns (or even do both!). White pip berries make for another great transitional accent. The balance between light an dark will allow for you to use this from fall through the end of winter. Warm leather pillows mixed with an offsetting color and a striped pattern can be used at any time of year regardless if there is a holiday going on or not. Dress up your front door with a dried eucalyptus wreath that gives off a wine color suitable for this transitional period. Keep in mind, if you want your decor pieces to last through the holidays choose colors that can easily be used in each of them.
