Exterior Refresh

A lot of times we focus on the interior, but it’s important to remember that the exterior is the first impression you give anyone walking through your front door. We have a couple of projects coming up that require some exterior work - either remodel, or new build - and so we thought this would be a good opportunity to show you some of the exterior trends we are loving.

SW - Jogging Path | BM - Chelsea Gray | SW - Snowbound White

Okay, everyone loves a good light and airy exterior. There is something about a pretty white house and creamy grays that just gets us excited! This is the perfect opportunity to add a pop of color like Benjamin Moore’s Salamander to your to your front door, or get your gardening on and plant some colorful flowers. The world is your oyster and all of that…it’s a clean slate to work with!

BM - Kendall Charcoal | BM - Black

Another exterior trend that has been big the past couple of years and is definitely still on trend this year is the dark and moody exterior. This is a lot of tone on tone, with some slight variation in trim color or no variation in color at all. Oddly enough, this type of exterior really pops in the spring and summer when the greens are more prominent. Think deep purple tulips and rich greenery as the perfect accents to this exterior color palette.

BM - Soot | BM - Witching Hour | BM - White Dove

This exterior takes on a deep blue color and especially pops next to the bright white trim and warm wood accents. We are totally into adding some color to your exterior and this is the perfect way without feeling like it sticks out too much. The homeowners said that they mixed half Soot with half Witching hour to get this gorgeous color!
